โ๏ธ Invesco offers an ETF (RSP) that invests in the S&P 500 with an equal-weight strategy.
๐ก๏ธ This approach reduces exposure to overvalued sectors and individual companies.
๐ The ETF rebalances regularly, selling winners and buying losers to maintain equal weighting.
๐ Historically, equal-weighted indices have provided better long-term returns compared to market-cap-weighted indices.
@mfncristianbarros:
“You have ETFs like the one from Invesco, the SP, which always makes sure it says ‘equal weight.’ And you will be investing in the S&P 500, but you will know that you will not have more exposure to the large companies, to those Nvidia, as we were saying, Microsoft, etcetera, but rather that each of the companies will weigh exactly the same. You have the one from Invesco, you have the one from Xtrackers, and you have the one from iShares, among others. But I have shown you these, which are the largest, the most liquid, and the ones that you can contract from practically anywhere.”
