🤔 Google’s AI-driven search results may reduce clicks on ads, impacting revenue.

✅ Google’s profitable searches, like those for products and services, remain largely unaffected.

🚀 Google’s AI advancements are competitive, posing a significant challenge to rivals like ChatGPT.

🌐 Google’s extensive ecosystem continues to generate substantial revenue streams.

@Academiadeinversion:
“The key is to ask how it will affect profitable searches for Google. Google giving many answers doesn’t mean it earns money from them. There are a number of answers that are really profitable. Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity are generally used to create something for yourself with generative AI, or for a more general answer on a more abstract topic, at least today. It is taking very little market share, and it is taking it on searches that are not profitable. Google gives many answers directly because it is not profitable for Google. Google is paid by advertisers, and if an answer that Google gives with AI is not going to be given if someone pays to appear first, they give it to non-profitable things. Google is doing very well, and is remounting a lot.”
