🇨🇳 Tesla had its best week of the year in China, with sales of the Model Y up 12% compared to the previous week.

📉 Despite poor sales in Europe during February, the market is not overly concerned due to Tesla’s current prices.

🔮 There’s potential for continued momentum, but external factors like political announcements could significantly impact the stock.

@bernardodegarcia:
“We had news from Tesla that sales in Europe remained quite weak, but as we are observing, that is not worrying the markets too much, especially with Tesla’s current prices. With Tesla continuing the momentum, we realize that Tesla performed relatively poorly in Europe in February, but in China, it had its best week of the entire year. This obviously speaks to what I was saying about this Model Y renewal cycle. The worse this news about Tesla’s sales in Europe was, the better. It was complete nonsense. Elon Musk has no idea how to manage the company. It seemed fantastic to me, but whoever has fear, and whoever has an opinion. It has been a very good week in China, and this is being reflected in Tesla’s shares. I believe this momentum should continue, but of course, we are not free from something like that happening, from Trump, Musk, Xi Jinping, or who knows, jumping in. Tesla sold 10,600 Model Y vehicles in China last week. That’s 12% more than last week and the best week of the year. I hope that sales this week, right now, Tuesday the 25th, will be another record. Then exports will start again, and local sales will drop again for a couple of weeks. The Model Y ramp-up continues. It keeps working. It keeps going. There is still some way to go to hit 16,000 per week, but if we generate another 12% increase, we would be at 11,000-12,000. Then it would fall again because exports would start again, but what is interesting in China is that we have these weekly sales, and we don’t have them in Europe. We would have to see in a week; I imagine we will have European sales for the month of March.”
