🤖 Adobe has invested an undisclosed amount in Synthesia, a British AI startup focused on transforming video production with AI-generated avatars.
📈 This strategic partnership aims to leverage Synthesia’s technology, which allows businesses to create videos using realistic AI avatars, potentially integrating it into Adobe’s creative suite.
📉 The investment comes as Adobe’s stock trades near long-term lows, raising questions about whether AI advancements could disrupt its core business or offer new growth avenues.

“Let’s move on now to Adobe shares, which, well, like other companies, have taken a tremendous hit. It’s trading near lows it hasn’t seen in a long time, trading at pre-COVID levels, so to speak. But anyway, there it is, cheap enough to buy if you believe AI won’t end up wrecking it. The fact is that Adobe has invested in Synthesia, a British AI startup, hoping that this technology will transform video production. Synthesia told CNBC that Adobe’s venture capital division injected an undisclosed amount of funds into the startup as part of a strategic alliance, without giving further details on the financial terms. The startup, which claims to serve more than 70% of Fortune 100 companies, sells a platform that allows companies to develop videos with realistic AI-generated avatars. Anyone can create their own AI avatars, either in one of Synthesia’s production studios or on a personal device.”
