“Aldebaran Resources is a junior copper mining company in San Juan. They have the Altar deposit, which is the fifth-largest copper deposit in the hands of a junior mining company. The deposit is large; I seem to recall they have 2.4 billion tons of copper at 0.42. And the interesting thing, besides the size, which is very good, and the grade, which is also quite decent, is that they have a significant agreement with Nuton, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, where Nuton is making a strong investment. They can acquire, I believe, 20% of the company through consecutive investments if certain milestones are met. Many of these milestones involve reaching certain studies to achieve viability, the relevant economic studies of the company. They are doing work for the PEA in 2025, and consecutively, the PCS will have to be done, which they have planned for the last quarter of 2026. They have strong management with John Black, who has a good track record with Antares Minerals, which they sold for a fortune. They did a bit of the same thing they are doing with Aldebaran. I think it is a very interesting asset that has appreciated quite a bit in the last year because they released different news that acted as catalysts, from different drillings where they had more than 1 km of mineralization at 0.5 or 0.6% copper, which is already a very good result. They also announced the entire collaboration with Nuton, and the market also recognized that it was a determined bet towards the future.”
