💲 Tesla is increasing vehicle prices in Canada in anticipation of potential retaliatory import taxes from the Canadian government.
🇨🇦 The company is actively encouraging Canadian customers to buy imported cars from existing inventory before new tariffs on U.S.-made vehicles take effect.
⚖️ This move follows the imposition of U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, prompting Canada to announce reciprocal measures designed to mirror the U.S. tariffs.

“Let’s move on to Tesla. It’s up almost 1%, nearing that 200-day moving average. It’s raising prices in Canada and encouraging buyers to purchase imported cars before tariffs are imposed on vehicles manufactured in the United States. The electric car manufacturer’s Canadian website posted a banner on Saturday saying, ‘Explore inventory with pre-tariff prices while supplies last.’ After President Trump imposed sweeping tariffs on Canadian products last month, including a 25% tariff on the content of vehicles produced outside the United States under a trade pact between the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Canada announced import taxes in retaliation. These in-kind levies are designed to mirror the U.S. tariffs.”
