@bernardodegarcia:
“Taiwan Semi’s quarterly revenues increased by 42%, an increase higher than expected, reflecting strengthening demand for AI servers and smartphones ahead of the entry into force of U.S. tariffs. This marked Taiwan Semi’s fastest growth pace since 2022. Who said crisis? Electronics manufacturers had stored products in U.S. warehouses in anticipation of potential trade disruptions and shipments. The main chip manufacturer for Apple and Nvidia reported revenues of over NT$839 billion, which is a little over $25.5 billion USD, in the first quarter of 2025. Analysts expected approximately NT$830 billion. The company will present its full quarterly results next week along with its outlook for the current quarter.”
